Having a father with his life-long commitment to health and wellbeing and daily yoga practice, inspired Raksha to teach yoga from an early age. Raksha has over 40 years of experience and this is her area of expertise. She trained to teach yoga, then became a yoga therapist which in turn led her to the Mindfulness journey.
Her teachers are renowned global educators such as Dr Nagendra, author of “Yoga for Common Ailments”; John Kabat Zinn (Professor of Medicine, and Founder of MBSR and the Centre for Mindfulness in Medicine and author); Professor Mark G. Williams (Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of Oxford Mindfulness Centre at the Oxford University and author.); Elizabeth Till (Yoga teachers’ trainer DCT, British Wheel of Yoga); and Dr Cathy Mae Karelse (Mindfulness, Ayurveda, and yoga therapy trainer, Director of Clear Mind Institute).
